Refunds and Returns Policy

This Refunds and Returns Policy outlines your rights and obligations regarding the return, refund, exchange, or replacement of products purchased from our website. Because our inventory includes high-value, precision-engineered equipment including new, pre-owned, and used items each return request will be evaluated carefully to maintain quality control, traceability, and operational integrity.
1. General Policy
This policy applies to all products sold directly through our company, including but not limited to:
- Surveying and Mapping Equipment (GNSS GPS RTK Systems, Robotic & Manual Total Stations, Theodolites, Levels)
- 3D Measurement and Imaging Equipment (3D Scanners, Laser Scanners, Photogrammetry Tools)
- Subsurface and Analytical Equipment (Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), XRF/XRD Analyzers, Ultrasonic Testers)
- Data Acquisition and Communication Devices (Data Collectors, Controllers, Rugged Tablets)
- Fiber Optic Tools and Equipment (Fusion Splicers, OTDRs, Power Meters, Cleavers)
- Calibration, Accessories, and Replacement Parts
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must all be met:
Return Request Period:
- You must request a return within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- Requests submitted after 14 days may not be accepted unless otherwise covered by warranty.
Condition of the Product:
- The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition, with no signs of wear, modification, or tampering.
- All original packaging, calibration certificates, manuals, cables, accessories, and serial-numbered components must be included.
- Products must be returned with original proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation).
Return Authorization:
All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained from our Customer Service Department prior to shipping the product back.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For quality and traceability reasons, the following items are non-returnable:
- Custom-configured equipment, special orders, or items modified at customer request.
- Software licenses, firmware, digital activation codes, or downloadable products.
- Consumable components such as batteries, cables, calibration tools, or optical fiber consumables that have been opened or used.
- Any equipment that has been tampered with, disassembled, misused, or exposed to environmental damage (e.g., moisture, impact, power surge).
- Equipment that has been modified, damaged, or misused after delivery.
4. Inspection and Testing
All returned equipment is subject to a technical inspection and functionality test by our service team before any refund or replacement is issued.
Inspection may take up to 7–10 business days after the item is received. If the inspection confirms the item is in its original condition, a refund or exchange will be processed accordingly. If the item shows signs of use, damage, or tampering, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply, or the return may be rejected.
5. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection approval.
Please note that:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped or DOA — Dead on Arrival).
- If the item was purchased under financing, refunds will be processed in accordance with the financing provider’s policies.
6. Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or non-functional, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photo or video evidence. We will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund, depending on stock availability and warranty status.
7. Used & Pre-Owned Equipment
All used and pre-owned items are tested, verified, and described accurately to the best of our ability.
These items are sold with limited or no manufacturer warranty, as stated in the product listing.
Returns for used equipment will be handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on condition, description accuracy, and technical evaluation.
8. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return or refund request:
- Email our support team at [support@munasurveying.com] with your order number and reason for return.
- Await confirmation and return authorization (RMA number).
- Pack the item securely with all original materials and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the item to the address provided in the RMA instructions.
- Unauthorized returns or shipments without RMA numbers will not be accepted.
9. Restocking & Handling Fees
Manufacturer’s Warranty
- New products may include a manufacturer warranty as specified in the product documentation.
- Warranty coverage typically includes defects in materials or workmanship, but excludes misuse, accidents, and unauthorized modifications.
Limited In-House Warranty
- Some pre-owned items may include a limited in-house warranty (e.g., 30–90 days).
- Coverage details will be clearly stated in the product description.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
- We offer paid repair services for out-of-warranty items.

10. Warranty and Repairs
